The wildflowers have been painstakingly free-hand-burned into the walnut, and the solid-steel handles with a gold satin finish add a touch of elegance. It's both rustic and classy, or "country chic" (if you will). This serving board measures 18.5" long x 10.5" wide x 1.25" thick, and has a very satisfying weight. The Walnut & Wildflowers serving board is guaranteed to be a conversation piece at your next gathering!

  • Never soak wood. Hand wash with light soapy water when necessary, making sure to get the board wet equally on both sides, immediately towel dry well, and store upright on its edge to promote airflow and prevent moisture from settling. Do not scrub the burned areas. This is important! To ensure a long and healthy life, it's a good practice to wax/oil your board whenever it starts to feel dry. This will help prevent cracking and keep the board looking great! Be sure your board is completely dry on all sides before applying a wax or finish to prevent trapping moisture. Most board waxes are fine; just make sure it is food safe. We are gifting you a small tin of our food safe Elm & Ember Board Balm to condition and protect your board - it will arrive already mineral oiled and waxed, but we suggest fresh waxing after a few months or as needed if used often.

To condition the board, rub a soft cloth in the wax and apply over every surface of the board. Let the wax set for about 15-20 minutes then buff it off with a dry cloth. The wax protects the board as well as shines it up.
