Here's how it works:
 
• Write down a memory together - a trip you took, something you appreciate about each other, an achievement, a milestone, anything you’ll always want to remember - and the date. It’s more fun if you don’t tell the other person what you’re writing!
• Roll your scroll back up and mark the outside with an initial or symbol to tell who wrote it.
• Put it in the jar!
• Open the jar a year later (or on an important date like an anniversary, birthday, New Year’s) …and read each other’s scrolls together!
• Start fresh for next year! Save all your scrolls for a milestone celebration.
 
These scrolls are also great for writing inspirational quotes or affirmations for yourself or partner!
